Responsibilities:

Aircraft Maintenance Parking Coordination

• Coordinate with aircraft operators for the allocation of maintenance parking positions and hangar slots.
• Maintain and update the hangar/apron daily plan, including planned and actual aircraft movements.
• Liaise with airport authorities for stand allocation and aircraft repositioning requirements.
• Ensure that parking allocations are aligned with operational priorities, including scheduled maintenance inputs and aircraft release targets.

Aircraft Towing Coordination

• Plan and coordinate all aircraft towing activities in cooperation with AMS AERO towing teams and certifying staff.
• Ensure towing schedules are communicated in a timely manner to all involved departments.
• Monitor execution of towing activities to ensure compliance with safety requirements and company procedures.
• Maintain a daily record/report of all towing movements and aircraft repositioning activities.

External MRO & AOG Support Coordination

• Act as the focal point for coordination with external MRO organizations operating at Athens International Airport.
• Coordinate access, permits, and logistical arrangements for external MRO personnel.
• Arrange required support services, including towing, ground support equipment (GSE), and facility access.
• Ensure effective communication between aircraft operators, external MROs, and AMS AERO internal departments.
• Monitor progress of external MRO and AOG support activities and provide regular updates to the Planning department.

Qualifications

• Secondary education (minimum requirement).
• Previous experience in aviation operations, aircraft maintenance environment, ground handling or similar operational role.
• Good understanding of aircraft maintenance environment and hangar/apron/airport operations.
• Ground Support Equipment (GSE) usage and limitations (at coordination level).
