AMS AERO – Maintenance Training Organization

Aerospace Management and Support P.C.C. in addition to its founding work, implements through its Maintenance Training Organization (MTO) appropriate training courses and examinations leading to a category B1 and B2 license validated by Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority (HCAA) EL.147.0018, as defined by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA part-66 ).
Our team is dedicated to developing/implementing these training courses that are tailored to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to pursue a career as a qualified aircraft maintenance technician (B1 Engineer or B2 Avionics) in the general aviation industry.
In addition to basic B1 and B2 courses, we offer type-specific Initial Maintenance training courses for business aircraft (Bombardier Challenger 604/605, Bombardier Global, Bombardier CRJ, Learjet 60XR, Gulfstream G650/ER, Gulfstream G550, Boeing 737 Classic, Boeing 737 NG).

The AMS AERO Training and Examination Center (License No. EL.147.0018, EASA Part-147), is located at the company’s premises in Athens International Airport and is issuing licenses for European B1 and B2 Aircraft Maintenance / Repair Diploma.
Our courses combine theoretical and practical sessions with 45% of the training being practical, with the course duration dependent on the license category.
The EASA Part-66 approved category B1 or B2 course has a duration just less than 2 years.
The first year of the course covers the modules common to both B1 and B2 license categories.
The selection for majoring in Mechanical or Avionics Technician Engineering can be decided during the second year of the course.
1. Aircraft Technician Engineer, B1
The role of an aircraft Technician Engineer is to certify and ensure the safe operation of all means of flight (aircraft and helicopters) summarized as follows:
Inspection, maintenance, replacement / repair of aircraft mechanical parts, components and other aircraft systems;
Use and utilization of technological methods for the design, development and production of aircraft mechanical parts, components and other aircraft systems.
The courses are taught under the EASA part-147, part-66 license and lead to the acquisition of a European B1 Aircraft Maintenance / Repair Diploma.
2. Aircraft Technician Electronics (AVIONICS), B2
The role of an Aircraft Technician Electronics is to certify and ensure the safe operation of all means of flight (aircraft and helicopters) which is briefly described as follows:
Inspection, maintenance and repair of an aircraft’s electrical and electronic systems and instruments;
Use and utilization of technological methods for the design, development and production of electrical and electronic systems and instruments of an aircraft.
The courses are taught under the EASA part-147, part-66 license and lead to the acquisition of a European B2 Aircraft Maintenance / Repair Diploma.
